Are You Listening to FM Yadda Yadda Radio?
Are you tired of listening to the same old tunes on your personal Fear Motivator YADDA YADDA RADIO?
- Do you constantly tell yourself why you can’t, won’t or shouldn’t do something?
- Do you blame other people for what’s not right with your life?

It’s on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we are all listening to this station.
FM stands for Fear Motivator and the Yadda Yadda is the negative stuff we tell ourselves each day. All the reasons why we we can’t shouldn’t or don’t do the things we know are actually good for us.

It’s usually old habits, old ways of being and thinking that stop us from creating the life we want.
In the coaching world we call them the saboteurs or the gremlins. They are the creatures who inhabit our minds who believe they are doing us a favor by pointing out all the things that can go wrong in our life if we follow a certain path. Usually they are at their loudest when we make a decision to make change in our life. We are upsetting the status quo and they won’t have it. Like a five year old who doesn’t get it’s own way, it lets you know in no uncertain terms why what you’re doing is really not good for you.
But here’s the thing. You can change the voices in your head. They want attention and you can give it to them by politely acknowledging their presence, but CHOOSE to do what you know is good for you.
I believe most of us have been conditioned in the negative, and we need to consciously break these habits. Whatever tools you can find to do that, then do it. Getting conscious is really just paying attention to What you do and Why you do it. It took me a long time to get that habit, but I finally did, and most of it came through writing it out.
