Spent the morning reading ‘Tribes’ by Seth Godin, and totally understood why it’s important we build the ‘we’ in organizations and that leadership is a team thing.

As a small business person, I’ve worked most of the last three years on my own, with occasional help from others, and throughout I’ve been aware that building a team who share the passion for the project is essential.  We want everyone on the same page, sharing the same goals, having the same vision of what this means to the world. I lead by example, believing that what you see is what you get, and I try to walk my walk, and talk by talk every day.

I believe we are living in a culture of fear and I want to make a difference in the world. This means I have to build my tribe of people who believe as I do that we can all change how we live and we all have choices that make our world a better place.

If one person can go beyond the fears, doubts and anxieties that are currently stopping them from living their dream, or pursuing a life that is meaningful, then it’s a domino effect.  When you speak your truth, live your life authentically, you spread the news across the world and it’s a better place because you are in it.  When you can fearlessly declare your passions, create meaningful goals for yourself and feel supported by those around you, you are well on your way to making a difference in the lives of those around you by leading by example.

Start today by writing out your vision for the future you want.

Who is in it, what do you want, what will your life look like when you accomplish what you desire.

Be specific and start putting these goals in place month by month to reach your desired results.

When we dream big, we live big.  When we live big, everyone benefits.  The ‘Me’ generation is now becoming the ‘We’ generation.  The health of the world depends on it.

Fear is an option. Living Fearlessly is a choice.
