Last night I attended a gospel concert in my neighborhood at Madison and 126th, and heard the sound of the Harlem Boys and Girl’s alumni choir. What a wonderful sound they made. In these weeks of saccharine Christmas music they made the idea of Christmas and festive seem like a miracle.
