Are You Being Fearless in 2010?

by Jacqueline on December 28, 2009

How many of you are sitting down with a piece of paper writing out your new year’s resolutions this week?

In my experience, it’s an annual rite of passage that is frequently set to disappoint because our actions may not follow our intentions.

Well, here’s a nifty idea given to me by my friend Bob The Teacher.

Make a list of all your successes in 2009.

My 2009 successes included:

  • Creating a new brand The Fearless Factor
  • Developing a new website and blog
  • Publishing The Fearless Factor and received endorsments by Susan Jeffers, Marianne Williamson, Margot Anand, Sam Horn and others
  • Spoke at several events
  • Did a two month blog tour
  • Increased my client base
  • Moved into a dream home in Manhattan
  • And, increased my network of connections to major organizations so I can develop my business to a whole new level next year.

In working with my coaching clients over the last year, I’ve seen them achieve extraordinary results as they change their behavior, their way of thinking and ways of relating to those around them.

These changes have given them the confidence to work even harder on the things they wish to achieve in 2010.

Forward thinking is the key to achieving all you want in the year ahead.

So this year, try something different from the usual new year’s list of things you must do. Write down all your successes for 2009 and then:

  • Make a list of the success you will have in 2010.
  • Write them out as if you have already achieved them
  • and then write a list of actions that will take you where you want to go.

If you need some help figuring it out, then check out my coaching programs. There’s also a brand new group coaching program that begins on January 7th.  According to the Queen of Social Media Melea Seward, “it’s an awesome deal.”

I’m keeping it very small….that way you can get the best of what I have to offer.  If you want more information, then email  me on the contact link below.

Remember 2010 is The Year of Living Fearlessly.  Are you ready?

I think that’s a very inspiring way to look at new year’s resolutions!

Thanks for the response to my post Sharon. Taking a different approach is what we all must do in today’s climate of shifting sands. Glad to hear it was inspirational and wish you well with all your goals for this year.
