I recently returned from a journey to Germany and after being delayed and diverted because of an uncooperative volcano to the north of us, I found lots of time to enjoy Seth Godin’s book Linchpin.

In Linchpin he asks if you are Indispensable?

Are you brave enough to draw your own map,create the life you’ve always wanted, and demand change as your right?

Seth says we are all artists because of what we  contribute to our world.  You are a force for change if you want to be.

Do you feel like you’re contributing something significant to life?  If not, why not?

For me, I have always created my own map.  I call it flying by the seat of my pants, which is probably why I got into this FEARLESS business anyway.  This is my contribution to the change we all must be, according to Gandhi.

You may be thinking I’m not an artist, but you would be wrong.  It’s not just about painting nice pictures or making music. It’s how you live your life, and what meaning you give to it.
