Intuition – a Woman’s Best Friend

intuition
(noun) The ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.

We live in an entrepreneurial society. An individual’s success depends more on their ability to think on their toes, and make firm decisions quickly. In these situations, I doubt that very many people call upon loads of scientific data to help them decide; more often than not they rely on something much more subtle, but powerful: their intuition.

Ever since the Enlightenment movement swept through Europe, and made its way to the United States, intuition has been undervalued as a human trait. The scientific process of observation, data collection and supreme skepticism has quietly nudged aside the notion that people are capable of understanding the world around them based solely on instinct. This displacement of “trusting the gut” has lead to an overwhelming lack of confidence in the average person, and is a major reason for individuals’ lack of productivity.

We should be learning how to embrace our intuitive powers. They almost always lead us down the right path in our careers, and love lives, but only if we open our minds to their influence. It only works if we trust our guts!

Join me in my interview with Diane Brandon as we delve into the intuitive mind, the often untapped power that we all have—especially women.
